Cosymbio emerged from the collective expertise of a team of researchers and entrepreneurs based in Barcelona, driven by a common goal: addressing the glaring scarcity of accessible laboratory spaces for burgeoning biotech startups. The existing options were either prohibitively expensive or situated far from major urban centers, failing to cater adequately to the specific needs of early-stage companies. Additionally, fledgling biotech enterprises often struggled to secure the resources required for project development, business operations, and securing funding rounds.

With Cosymbio, we aspire to foster an environment that nurtures and propels the growth of biotech startups. We have taken the first step towards this vision with Cosymbio Barcelona-Poblenou, our first collaborative biotechnology space situated in the heart of Barcelona, one of Europe’s most vibrant biotechnology hubs.
